We are seeking student writers with a strong academic interest in the region of East Asia. Your interest may relate to a narrow aspect, or take on the form of passion within a larger context. Although writing an article may involve spending some time on research, prior knowledge and cultural ties are not nearly as important as your interest in the topics and your enthusiasm to share your views.The following conditions apply to every article submission:

1. Two pages minimum, single-spaced (Approx. 1000-1200 words)
2. Articles will be evaluated on the basis of sharp focus, insightful questions, use of examples/evidence, writing style, and likely utility for discussions.
3. For citations, either traditional footnotes/endnotes or in-text references should be used.
